Product Information
Working with this specific three-layer vinyl can be slightly trickier compared to other HTV as it is not stretchy and requires precise handling. Therefore, make sure your cutting knife is sharp and your cutting machine is set up correctly.
Using a three-layer heat transfer vinyl (HTV) can indeed be more challenging than working with standard HTV. Here are some tips to help you handle it effectively:
Sharp Blade: First, ensure your cutting knife is sharp. A dull blade can cause ragged cuts and incomplete weeding.
Correct Settings: Additionally, adjust the settings on your cutting machine specifically for thicker materials. Refer to your machine’s manual or the vinyl manufacturer’s guidelines for optimal settings.
Test Cuts: Lastly, always perform a test cut before proceeding with your main project. This helps ensure the settings are correct and the blade depth is sufficient.
The adhesive backing can help with cutting finer vinyl and support fantastic end results.
Standard roll size: 50cm wide, 25M maximum continuous roll length.
Thickness: 93 – 98 microns (without protective film) HTV Hologram vinyl.
Recommended fabrics: 100% Cotton, 100% Polyester, Poly / Cotton Blends
Please note that, as part of the pressing process, Spectrum (AHO-17) will produce slight lines through manufacturing, visible every 60cm (approx.) Please note that these lines, while visible, are unlikely to spoil or interrupt your look.
